It's
a good idea to install some sort of edging between your turf areas
and the areas that will have trees and shrubs in them. This will
keep the grass from encroaching into the planting bed.
We can install the traditional black plastic edging or aluminum
edging. We are happy to discuss the options with you.
A high quality weed barrier will help keep the pest plants to a
minimum in your shrub beds.
We suggest surrounding all trees and shrubs with mulch or decorative
rock rather than grass because the grass will have a tendency to
choke the plants.
If your trees and shrubs are surrounded by grass you'll also have
to mow or trim very close to the plants which may cause damage to
the plant.
Once
all the plants are in its time to prepare the area for sod
or seed.
